Reviewing Burrata House: Authentic, simple, Italian food in Los Angeles.

Interior, Burrata House, Los Angeles
Interior (Burrata House, Los Angeles)

Burrata House is my go-to place to order from Postmates, but I had never tried their location in person. With their mission statement being “authentic simple Italian food,” you can expect just that with anything you order on their menu. Burrata House sources the best products from the best producers in Italy for consumer enjoyment. They only work with suppliers who “share their principles of excellence, careful promotion of Italian products, and the constant search for quality.”  Di Stefano Premium Italian Cheese proudly supports Burrata House as it is served in every dish, and can even be doubled in quantity upon request (and payment). Burrata is not only popular in Italian dishes and restaurants, but also across different cuisines and dishes, especially in Los Angeles.

Upon pulling up, it is an order at the counter and then find a table place, so we did just that. We ordered the bresaola panini, which consists of Italian-cured beef, burrata, olive oil, organic tomatoes, and arugula on a ciabatta bun topped with salt and pepper. This panini was absolutely delicious. The contrast between the texture of the beef and the burrata makes for a perfect combo within the toasted ciabatta bread. I would have liked a little more sauce on each slice of the bread or maybe a spicy component.

I also ordered the caprese bowl, which includes field greens, burrata, olive oil, organic tomatoes, basil pesto, arugula, and quinoa. This bowl

was super fresh and consisted of everything that pairs perfectly together; I think the basil pesto paste made for an excellent topper. I have also tried the pesto pasta, which is vegetarian and consists of basil, grana, olive oil, almonds, salt, and pepper. Not only is the orecchiette pasta shape one of my favorites, but the basil pesto and burrata pairing is ideal with the pasta texture and shape.

As a burrata lover, this is the place to go! The authenticity of each dish transports you to Italy while you enjoy your meal. Each dish was superbly crafted and well-presented, which made each bite even more enjoyable! The staff is incredibly friendly, the storefront is very clean, and overall, I just had a really good experience with the taste and quality of the food. The “Burrata makes me so…” LED light was the cutest decoration that is ideal for photo ops, especially for food bloggers like myself!

As a return customer from Postmates, I will definitely be returning to dine-in again. The Burrata House in West Hollywood is my preferred location of the two in Los Angeles; the other location is in Culver City. While this is the second location to open in Los Angeles, there is also a Texas location, and I predict more to be opened soon since the restaurant is so well-liked and popular among people of all different walks of life. It is the ultimate place to order from delivery services for a night-in, and it is also a great spot for a quick bite with friends as it is reasonably priced, delicious, and conveniently located.
