Reviewing Grazia: Fresh Italian food in Pearland, TX.
Grazia is a privately owned restaurant with three locations in the Houston area since 2014. Adrian and Gina Hembree founded Grazia after working in the food industry for several years before opening their first restaurant. Grazia “is a proud supporter of local schools, athletic programs, community organizations, law enforcement and military and veteran organizations”. The Hembrees are incredibly supportive of a delicious meal, which is an efficient way to unite people. Grazia’s menu consists of Italian cuisine with some Texas favorites and comfort foods. The menu items can be pricey, but everything is made with love in-house. Their menu is vast serving wagyu meat sauces, short ribs, steak, and seafood. This restaurant serves a respectable number of alcoholic drinks such as red wine, white wine, and sangria. The dessert menu includes a variety of cakes and limited-time specials allowing numerous taste preferences to appreciate something sweet after a hearty meal.
Grazia has an interesting and mysterious view from the outside. It looks like a wide-spaced restaurant that is simultaneously comfortable and preppy. The interior is dark and subtle, yet classy and exciting. The hosts and managers are right near the door welcoming guests with friendly smiles. The kitchen is visible. The main dining area is spacious and cozy. The atmosphere is pleasant and happy with people chatting and celebrating anniversaries, family gatherings, or birthdays.
I ordered the Fra Diavolo for my main dish and a slice of chocolate cake for dessert on my last visit to the Pearland location. The dish I ordered was delicious, juicy, and spicy. The linguini in this pasta tasted very fresh and natural. The spice had the perfect amount of heat without being too hot or mild. The sauce had a thick and runny texture as a chunky salsa would. I requested the Fra Diavolo with chicken, which was tender, moist, and well prepared. My chocolate cake was unbelievably decadent, rich, and dense, with an ideal cake to icing ratio. On other visits to Grazia, I have ordered angel hair with meat sauce. Each time, it was splendid with a lot of tasty aromas and great texture. This dish’s sauce is runny, chunky, and full of spices, as well as juicy ground wagyu meat. The strawberry cake and amaretto creme brûlée are some other delectable desserts I have ordered in the past.
The service at Grazia is always courteous and professional. It has a classy impression from arrival to departure. The staff is attentive and excellent for inquiring about menu items or recommendations. The managers are always present and walking around, while the servers are going back and forth keeping an eye out for their customers’ needs. Grazia embodies hospitality as well as diversity in their dishes and desserts. The meals taste consistent without being unreasonably greasy or imbalanced. The quality of the ingredients is obviously high, and the meal portions range from a considerable size to huge.
